Stagedoor after matinees?

Hi!

I was wondering if actors usually come out the stagedoor after matinees... I'm particularly asking about Next to Normal, Hair and In the Heights.

It varies from Actor to actor...even for evenings. They have little time between shows, so it's understandable.

MOST of the cast comes out after matinees...but when I was there Gavin and Will did not. (Gavin stuck his head out the window to talk to a friend of mine though.)

Can't speak for the other shows.

When I saw the April 25 (Saturday) matinee of 'next to normal' the whole cast came out.

When I saw Next to Normal on a Saturday matinee, everyone came out except Jenn Damiano.

People come out, but it always depends on the actors. Sometimes they choose not to come out in between the matinee and evening show because they want to rest, but I have been to matinees where a majority of the actors have greeted fans.

when I saw N2N on a saturday mat Alice and Jenn didnt come out..the rest of the cast did

When I saw a Hair matinee, almost everyone came out. Some of the performers were going fast, which I can understand, but they did sign and pose for pictures for everyone. However, when I saw a Wicked matinee, Nicole was the only one who came out.

I saw the N2N matinee today: Jenn slipped out unnoticed and Alice didn't come out, everyone else did though.

I think the entire cast of WSS usually comes out (I saw it on a Saturday afternoon and all but Matt came out) and then the entire cast of Billy Elliot came out after a Saturday matinee as well.

After a Saturday matinee of In The Heights, most of the actors came out the stage door and were very kind about signing and talking with fans. The only actors who didn't come out were Javier Munoz (Usnavi), Chris Jackson (Benny), and Marcy Harriell (Vanessa). However, on the day I went there was rehearsal for something that the cast was involved with, so maybe my experience was different than other days. I believe I heard the man who works the stage door say that Javier usually doesn't come out after matinees, though.
