Carol Channing fans may not have to make that transatlantic flight to London (where the dollar is pathetically weak against the poind): Carol's publicist has hinted that she'll be doing her one-woman show again in NYC before she goes to London.

(Guess who'll be there!)

Now I feel like a slug because, when Carol Channing brought "Hello, Dolly" to Pittsburgh before it went back to Broadway, we only gave her two standing ovations. When she appeared at the top of the stairs for the title number and again at curtain calls.

But, both times they were heartfelt.
