OMG HILARY DUFF AND BRITANY SPEARS??? hahahahah That's just a joke to make people cringe. haha they both are not talented whatso ever. They are just pretty girls that have a good speaking voice that they can animate and turn into music. I swear to you that's all they are. And it's sad because lots of little girls want to be like them. ahhh what a joke!

Posted: 9/8/05 at 3:56pmOMG that scared me so much. No way should Britney, who probably doesn't even have the proper voice training to be able to sing that role, and Hilary Duff, who is now just singing and putting out CDs because of her tv show, ever be allowed to Wicked as a movie. It's actually kind of sad.

Colin Farrell
Tom Cruise
Hilary "Satan's concubine" Duff
2. Great buckets of Spoffnor, they're going to sing!
3. "I love shrubs that are historical." -Johnny and The Sprites
4. "We're not singing it to you, we're singing it for us." -Rosario Dawson, about La Vie Boheme
5. "The best moments in reading are when you come across something - a thought, a feeling, a way of looking at things - which you had thought special and particular to you. And now, here it is, set down by someone else, a person you have never met, someone even who is long dead. And it is as if a hand has come out, and taken yours." -The History Boys
6. "Pass the parcel. That's sometimes all you can do. Take it, feel it and pass it on. Not for me, not for you, but for someone, somewhere, one day. Pass it on, boys. That's the game I want you to learn. Pass it on." -The History Boys

I know that all of these have already been said:
Hilary Duff (the sound of her voice is just really annoying and whiny or something, can't really describe it, but it's kind of electronic sounding)
Lindsay Lohan
Jesse McCartney (can he really be considered a "star" though?)
Ashlee Simpson
Britney Spears (hahaha)
Any of those people on Disney Channel shows who try sing (basically any person in a Disney Channel show) and who only get their videos played on Disney since they're on a show

Ruben Studdard- Aside from the fact that I don't think he's as talented as you need to be for Broadway, he's not up toit. He walk out on stage, sings one note, and the sweat is pouring off of him. Can you imagine how he'd be for an entire Broadway show? He'd make puddles on the stage and the rest of the cast would slip and fall.

Roseanne was in the Wizard of Oz, it was the Madison Square Garden production with Jessica Grove and Mickey Rooney. I think she replaced Eartha Kitt as the Wicked Witch. I wonder if the reviews were good, since the Witch actually got a song to sing, called the "Jitterbug" (making a joke bout Roseanne's singing, haha bad joke I know). There's a cast recording of that production available. Not with Roseanne, but just saying there is one.
Buy it , Jessica Grove singing "Over the Rainbow" is WONDERFUL.
and there's only one Disney star I would pay to see on Broadway and that's Annaliese van der Pol from Raven, because that girl really can SING.

#61Roseanne in W of Oz
Posted: 9/14/05 at 9:21amRoseanne was actually the "original" Wicked of Witch in the MSG production - she was in the 1997 production, which opened at MSG in NY. She was replaced by Eartha Kitt when the show hit the road the following year. The Jitterbug song was actually added for the tour, so Eartha and Joanne Worley sang it, Roseanne did not. I actually heard she was a pretty good witch though, but I couldnt imagine hearing her sing!
