Posted: 10/28/03 at 5:40pmI make it a point to stay far away on kid's night. Don't get me wrong, I like children (the ones who are behaved); I just don't like them sitting next to me in a theater. Though I must say, I've sat near adults who have ticked me off more than any child has. At least most children that I've witnessed are quiet during the show. It's before it starts, and during intermission when they annoy me.

Posted: 10/28/03 at 5:43pmYou have to understand: kids get in FREE when parents buy a full price ticket. [shudder]

Oops. That's when I'm going to the "Only Make Believe" Concert at the Lambs Theater. As it's a benefit for an institution that brings theater to hospital-bound kids, I suspect I won't be able to avoid 'em.
(oh, FEBRUARY 3. I thought you meant November 3. Nevermind.)

Posted: 10/28/03 at 6:58pmhaha I'm still in the kids category for this so I'm taking full advantage of the buy one get one fee tickets!

Amneris...don't you think it would be fun to see the kids at Hairspray or Little Shop?? Atleast you wouldn't be watching the show. I am the type of person who wants to be busy if I am going to work and the merchandise stand, I assume, will be very busy on Feb. 3! Is Kid's Night usually in Feb? My b-day is the second (ground hogs day!
) so I will make sure my parents never take me to NYC for my birthday.

Actually, I'd LOVE to see a bunch of kids at AVENUE Q.

Fiddler On the Roof begins previews in January, I believe- so it will be open by Kid's Night on Broadway. I, too, am going. I still have another 4 years of this incredible discount. I'm going this Thursday to the kick off. Wahoo!

Darn...these children will not have the opportunity to see a Broadway legend.....
Melaine in "Chicago".
That would have stopped a few of them from pursuing a musical theater career.

OH MY GOD!!! I have tickets for BEAUTY AND THE BEAST that day. I have a lay over on my way to see CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG in London, and thought I would catch the matinee.
Oh, what a scenario!
(LOL to all who believed this.)
