Oh gosh - do I condone ditching school? The dilemma!! HA HA

If you go, let us know how it was (but then get your butt straight back to school!) 8am is mighty early... I hope she has tons of people there to greet her and buy tickets!

Did the actual theatre make an announcement of this yet somewhere?

I would've thought that stephaniethestar's post about leaving at 5am would've answered your question already... but ok, I'll humor you.

People will be there to get tickets. Whether they are there to see her or not depends on more than just her name, but also on how well they have advertised the fact that she will be there. And being that I haven't seen anything other than just her personal post about it, it's hard to say who will be coming JUST for her.

Even if she's not as big of a name a Liza, I think it's smart for her to be there. She's a very warm and likable person and the people buying tickets will remember that when they come back to see her. They may not know who she is when they get there but they wont forget her when they leave.

Hey Popular and Jai!! yes I got back the 12th :) and I'm dying to be in Chicago again!! lol

and yes, although Steph J. may not be a huge name, she's an amazing person, and there WILL be people in line (like Popular said) and when they meet Steph, they will be as obsessed with her as we are.

Yay! can't wait!!

I'll tell you guys all about it when I get back! I'm also gonna go to Spitfire Grill, I think, while I'm out there, or maybe I'll try one of the lotteries, haha.

Kind of random, but this is relevant too. My drama club has always gone into Chicago (we're like 45 minutes away from the city) at the end of the year to see a musical. Last night we went to go see Spamalot and our director announced that we were going to see a show in the fall next year instead of the spring. We're going to see Pirate Queen! Now I'm really excited to go see it!

Hey!!

so here's my quick overview:

Got there at 6:40 (I drive fast), and there were only 3 people there! Then they moved us to a different door, and some stupid old guy got infront of us, and the girl infront of us (who I became friends with). Anyways, the wait didn't seem long, and at about 10 minutes to 8 Stephanie came walking down the street towards us. She caught me by suprise (she looked SOO beautiful, black dress with a full skirt, ballet flats, and her hair up and pretty), so I was like "WOw there's steph!" and I think she heard me so she waved to me. lol. THen she went inside.

I got my tickets, Row A Center orchestra for Octeber 8th (evening, first weekend of previews)!!! So happy about that. Then I went to talk to Stephanie. I told her I saw her in Wicked, blah blah. At the time she was personalizing posters so I asked her to make it out to Stephanie (same spelling, we had a laugh), and she wrote : "To Stephanie, GREAT NAME! much joy Stephanie J. Block" (adorable! lol). My mom was with me, her's says "To Carol, From Green to Queen! much joy Stephanie J. Block". THat woman rocks.

I entered the drawing to win the trip to Ireland, or Ny (which is what I wanted..) sadly didn't win either, but I talked to a few of the producers while I was over there. So cool. And met two more new friends. Fun times.

Bought student rush tickets to Spamalot, then, said bye to Stephanie and went to waste the 7 hours till THAT show. LOL.

that's my story.

Hope everyone had a blast!!
