Kev, I believe you are right, as most other standbys have been listed with picture/biography.

If you think about it, Laura Bell Bundy and Lisa Brecia both made names (or semi-names) for themselves on Broadway before the standby positions, with lead roles. Could it be possible that they prefer(ed) to be somewhat anonymous? All other standbys for the roles have been semi newcomers.

How to properly use its/it's: Its is the possessive. It's is the contraction for it is...

Stephanie is currently in a reading of Nine to Five: The Musical (oh dear god...) with Dolly Parton, Liz McCartney, and Megan Hitly, among others. I don't know if it will go anywhere, but if it does, she won't be in Wicked anytime soon.

So the answer is no, Stephanie J. Block isn't likely at all to join the Bway Wicked cast.

I think it's weird that neither LBB or LB are listed in the Playbill. Not sure why you wouldn't want people to know, not like they don't know already.

You left out Allison Janney (one of my absolute favorite screen actors...but I didn't know she could sing--esp. not with a comic coloratura, which is what the casting call listed for Violet. Hm).

I'd say this one's a rumor.
