I am planning a trip up to NY to see the Wedding Singer as I am a big Stephen Lynch fan. Does anyone know how long he is planning to be in the show and is there a certain time every week that he takes off?
He'll be in it for a while and no, he plays every show.
Stephen is amazing!
such a classy guy.
Stephen is amazing in the show and just an amazing person.
Saw him yesterday - his performance was really wonderful - he has SO much energy and is really focused onstage. And I love his voice...
Classy and friendly as can be at the stage door, too. All around great guy. Made a huge fuss out of this little girl because it was her birthday - he was so sweet.
He is fantastic, Im so glad he got a Tony nomination. He should win, but his chances are slim to none =(

He's a very personable guy. Titally appreciative of what's going on in his life at the moment.
Crushing on a Broadway Star?
hee hee, titally...
Ditto what everyone else said. He rides his bike to work and going home. Seriously what could be better? Take a nice bike ride through the city, sing and dance, be showered with compliments while you write your name on a few peices of paper, and then take a nice bike ride home.

Stephen Lynch is absolutely HILARIOUS (his comedy stuff). It's no wonder, with the similarities of his comic style to Adam Sandler, that he was such a perfect fit for the WS.
I think his performance during "Casualty of Love" and the two Adam Sandler songs are classic Lynch performances (classic already?).
Man, what I would have given to see him and Mitch Hedberg perform.

I agree with what everyone else is saying. Stephen's great in the WS and was extremely kind at the stage door.

I agree completely. They're my two favorite comedians of all time, and it was such sad news to see Mitch die at such a young age. I think the delivery of his lines was the greatest I've ever heard.

I'm just picturing Stephen singing Craig Christ with Mitch interjecting little lines.
Speaking of which, "I gotta follow Stephen Lynch. That is a hard act to follow. I'm a hard act to follow too. Cause when I am done, I take the microphone with me." ~ Mitch
I could see him in DRS, I'd love to see him perform Ruprecht...

lol BluCat.
I believe the dramatic effect of saying no comment, is diminished greatly when no one actually asks you anything...

And Stephen would make a great Freddy, IMO.
Comment.

I just want to add that I've run into Stephen a few times now on the awards circuit, and he's just about the most approachable and affable guy you could meet. And if you don't know Stephen's own twisted comedy albums, you oughta get them. He's a riot!
