I wonder if theyll film in an actual police station waiting room area? Or build like a large set for it and do it on a soundstage?

Excited for any time a piece of theatre can become available for the masses. This isnt the best play of the season, and definitely a bit of grief porn, but the performances are awesome and a lot of people will love it.

i guess the upside is the thousands of people who paid to see it finally getting to see Steve perform the role

That was actually one of my initial thoughts as I would still like to see Steve in this role.

I think Netflix is a good fit for this. They did a good job with Springsteen, offer the Newsies taping, and theyve adapted other live events for the platform as well. I am glad they plan to release it this year.

Its actually a good way to promote the play for Tony voters if released before May.

Steven was in tonight. Having not seen it prior to his injury, it would appear as if they may have modified his scene a little to not be so aggressive. He gave a great performance tonight.
