"We as a gay community did not want the state boycotted. That was not our goal. We never asked for the state to be boycotted."
She is not in the gay community now is she? Maybe YOU did not want to boycot the state but she did.

Barbra's voice is still stupendous, and the timbre of her instrument is unbeatable even compared to those half her age. At 65, she still holds an audience with both her stage presence and her voice.
I do agree that her albums post-Brolin (her studio albums, not live) have been a bit boring and not very exciting, but not lazy either. That is the type of wants to sing, then so be it. She still requires and demands perfection with those lush, slow sounds.
No one can say this recent concert tour was anything but exciting however. Her song choices were magnificent, as well as the delivery of the songs. Sure, her range is not as wide as it once was, nor can she holds notes as long--but again, she still kicks the butt off of most contemporary singers.
NYC4life...No she is not in the gay community and as I stated, had she done her homework, I don't think she would have called for the boycott. There was really no reason to boycott.
