I'm looking for tickets to Wicked (I know, I'm bad, but its for my dad and he loves the show) and I happen to find tickets on there (the day I want to go is sold out).
Is StubHub a good seller?

I believe they're owned by Ebay... if that makes them any more trustworthy in your eyes.
Eh... maybe not then.
Anyone know of another broker that is reliable?
it's not owned by ebay yet..they JUST agreed to buy them earlier this month.
DRS, it may be just as easy, and cheaper, to go to the theatre day of and get cancellation line tickets for regular price instead of paying the additional money that the StubHub brokers are selling them for. This is assuming of course that you or your dad have the time to do this.
you could also take a look at what Broadwaybox puts on their site from brokers. they usually have some good deals every now and then and if you go on the site and look at the list of tickets a few days before you can find discounted prices even.
See, I need the tickets well in advance.
My mom and I are surprising him at dinner with tickets to the show, since its his favorite (sadly).

I've used them before for concerts. They're reliable but expensive. All tickets come with a money-back guarantee, if I remember correctly.
onlineseats.com or wickedthemusicalticketsbroadway.com
very reliable, but they are second hand brokers so the tickets are jacked up

Really reliable.
I've found them extremely reliable. When you absolutely, positively have to have tickets for a show, they're the way to go.
I've used StubHub before and gotten front row seats for cheaper than at the box office.
FWIW you cant just buy premium seats to the show? I found that cheaper before.
Cant remember what site i used but they all seem to have the same batch of ticekts.
Here is my opinion:
1) Buy premium tickets directly
2) Use a broker
Many of these broker sites sell the same tickets. Most of them charge an additional 10% surcharge which is an even bigger ripoff.
If you must go through a broker make sure they don't charge the extra 10%.
Here are some that don't.
www.2-tickets.com/tickets/theatre/wicked
www.cheappremiumtickets.com
3) Check out ebay
Good luck
I use them exclusively, not only for purchasing but I have also sold tickets thru them as well. I have never had any trouble with them. I have even purchased last minute tickets and have had them delivered to my hotel in NYC and Chicago. I would say I've averaged about 10-12 transactions/per year with them the past 3 years.
The tickets I want aren't all that jacked up...
$14 (And I needed 4 seats) for center orchestra seats on a Saturday night in the next month.
Thanks for your help!
if price is not an issue I use broadwayinnercircle.com
speaking of brokers...has anyone gone through tickettransaction.com or its name, Ticketbox Usa ?
I want to buy tickets for a show off of there..but is it reliable? I figured I would ask this here since we are talking about brokers and it makes more sense to ask here than to start a new thread.
