Has anyone signed up for the new Lincoln Center program, Studentix? It enables you to order tix in advance for the price of $20 and you can get the best seats in the house. It seems like a very good policy.
This program is hands down the best student ticket policy there is. I sat third row center for Dessa Rose, first row center loge for Piazza, and second row center for Brian Stokes Mitchell...all for twenty bucks a piece...excuse me.
The loge is basically the mezzanine. It forms a kind of semicircle just like the orchestra. If you can, try to get somewhere close to the center. You lose sight of some of the action if you're too far off to the side.
I sat in the second or third row of the loge for Henry IV and it was fine. Sitting off to the side in any part of this theater can be a problem- it's very wide.
Studentix got me a fourth row dead center orchestra seat for Piazza in early July. I can't wait!

Studentix is a friggin' miracle. I saw Dessa Rose and A Light in the Piazza with excellent seats, and for once I didn't have to worry about availability for a student rush program. I think this program is especially well-suited for Lincoln Center because it isn't really an easy walking distance from the rest of the theater district, so it's not like students can casually walk there to buy rush tickets the way they can other theaters.
I had the same problem. So, I just simple re-registered using the same screenname and I recieved a new username and was then, once again, a Studentix member.
Yeah, can I just state that this website is driving me insane? I keep getting an error message telling me to call Ticketmaster which didn't even know there WERE Student tix.
