Summer courses for theater acting?

Hi, I've been to NY a few times as a tourist (I'm from Brazil), but next time I would like to go as a student!

I'm currently studing to be a professional actor, by next July (which is the period that we wanna go), We'll be in the middle of the two and a half year course, and me and a friend had this idea to do a summer course in NYC.

Do you guys think it's a good idea? Is there any school/academy that you recommend or not recommend? We are thinking about 4 weeks. Something that can give us even more insight about theater (not musical theater tho) and could be a great thing to have on our resumée.

The American Academy of Dramatic Arts on Madison Avenue has a summer program (actually, they have several) that is 4 weeks but it is not just 1 class.  Still, you might want to check it out.  I did the year-round program and loved it.
