Mornin'-
wegot here at 5:30 and there was only one person in line. We are two and three, the two people behind us showed up at 5:50, the next two at 6:05. The line is now at 7 people.
If anyone wants our two extra tickets that we can get, $81 each for a guaranteed ticket. Just the price of our ticket plus yours.
Message me asap if you're interested. We will be doing DEH standing room tomorrow.
Just to update: I arrived to the line at 5:10am, today. There was already 1 person ahead of me and by 6am, there were 5 of us. We were given seats in orch row T.
For all those looking for Saturday/two day show information:
I rushed this on Saturday March 25, I arrived at 4am and was third in line. The first person got there at 2:30am. The last person in line to get tickets was there at 5:30am. I know this time will probably only get earlier as the closing date gets closer.
Still only at most 10 tickets per show. A lot of people counted their place in line and left knowing they could get in line at a different rush line with a smaller line.

Looking to go this Saturday, and probably can't get there before 8am. Would you figure there's no chance I'll succeed? Did they offer discounted tickets to people left in line as others have said?

For the rush tickets, I think arriving at or after 8am will be tough to get a ticket. I know they still had a few $199 tickets available last weekend so I don't know if they gave any discounts after those were sold.

Having rushed the show before, your chance of getting a ticket by getting there at 8:00 AM would be slim to none. Can't speak on the discounted tickets though.

Has anybody here had an experience with discounted tickets after rush is sold out? I'll be there at around 8am tomorrow morning but if it's packed, is it worth it to stick around or just try another show?
Hopefully it's not packed. They'll sell rush for both performances and I think you'll be ok.

Please read the date on the post before sending lots of PMs. We rushed a week ago, not today.

Is the Hudson entrance area covered by chance? I was planning on rushing in the morning but it's supposed to be pouring rain all morning and I'd rather go a different day if not. I slightly remember scaffolding from when I rushed The Glass Menagerie but I'm not positive.

" This might be late, based on if you were rushing this morning. But yes there is a little overhang and scaffolding where the doors are into the theater. Just ask the line to move down if they can so everyone can be under some protection. Good luck!

Hello there,
I have a few questions, and was hoping someone might have answers.
1. At what time can the rush line start formulating?
2. Also, if we try to get rush tickets on a Saturday, which is a 2 show day, will there be more tickets available because there are 2 shows worth of rush tickets? (because 10 rush tickets per show?)
Thank you!

" 1. The starts once the first person get there. There's no specific start time, you just get there first and wait until the box office opens.
2. Yes on Saturday there will be more tickets available, 20 tickets total because there are two shows. So yes 10 tickets per show. The line typically starts early so even on a Saturday with more tickets that doesn't mean you can arrive later.
When I rushed two weeks ago the first person got there at 3:30am and we got there at 5am. We were 2 and 3 in line. Our seats were last row orchestra left. Great view, ROOMY seats :)

Hi, anyone rushed today? Just wondering how early the line forms now. Am planning on rushing on wednesday and would appreciate any info. Thanks!

"No standing room for this production, just rush
Yes I'm wondering if 4 or 5am would be too late to get a rush ticket on Wednesday. Anyone have thoughts on this?
From the Hudson's twitter:
"We no longer have rush tickets available for the Wednesday, 4/12 matinee performance of @SundayBroadway. For tix: http://www.thehudsonbroadway.com/"

Has anyone rushed this show on a Sunday? Can't swing 4-5am, but hoping the line might fill up later given the 12pm box office open

As the production is closing in a week and a half, I don't think anyone will have luck if they don't get there ridiculously early. Anyway, just wanted to add that my friend is in the SRO line for Hello Dolly and the guy in front of him walked by the Sunday rush line at about 5 or 5:30 am today. There were 10 people in line and some of them had gotten there at midnight. So, er, I hope they have Wednesday evening rush tickets available, at least!
