I wonder if ALW ever approached Catherine Zeta Jones about taking on Sunset?

Zeta-Jones was not even on anyone’s consciousness yet during the original Broadway run of SUNSET BLVD. Her first major film and the one that put her on the radar was THE MASK OF ZORRO in 1998. CHICAGO and her Oscar didn’t come around until 2002-2003.

Hi - sorry, I meant I wonder if she was considered for the role in the revival.
