I like Sutton, but she's in everything. It's like casting directors have given up--just cast celebs in everything, and use the same 9 people for every Broadway show. Casting director must be a rather easy job to have.

Sutton is hardly a "celeb". She is not known outside of the b'way group. Most tourists will only know theyv'e seen in before when they read her bio.

Why can't JeffMiele have an opinion of what he THINKS of her casting. If you've seen any actor perform AND you are familiar with the show -- you can perform an OPINION. I think she's miscast as well, doesn't mean I'm right. Doesn't mean that if I choose to see it, I will be blinded by my opinion either.

(I'm not a fan of the show, so I doubt that I will go and see it.)

She's not a Hollywood celeb, no. She's doing a hell of a lot better than I am, that's for sure. I should have written "celebs and/or the same 9 people."

She seems young for the role, but let's face it, the girl is brilliant.
I think she'll have a lot of people eating their naysays soon.

Have you guys seen her in the posters? Dang, she's hot. It's rare for a Broadway star to put lumber in my yard, but.... wow.

It's a great campaign and they'll pull in big crowds.
