Yeah, I agree Pippin. She just has an incredbily rich and perfect voice. It seems like she's never off key. She's always placing her voice perfect.
i donnt know what it is...but her tone...its amazing! so belty but elegant 2!
I don't really have to say much more...
Sutton is astonishing haha yeah I love this woman! She is pretty amazing on the Millie cast recording. I just wish I could've seen her live dammit
I love her voice. It's so enjoyable to listen to. I would LOVE to see her live. What's she doing next?
I would listen to her belt the phone book. There's a woman who knows how to belt without screaming, whining, and is still going to have a voice in 20 years.

She'll be in The Drowsy Chaperone. The first preview is on April 3. I'm seeing it at the end of April, and I can't wait - everything I've read about the show has been quite positive, and I loved Sutton in Thoroughly Modern Millie.
i just bought my tix for the first preview. i'm SO excited to have her back in new york and back on stage!
It won't be long before people start asking, "When's her last day in the show?"

Can. Not. Wait.
Ah, darn you people who live close enough to see her.
I love this girl. I have a recording of her singing "On My Own" and she is the only one I can listen to singing that song without my eyes bugging.
She's just too damn talented. Funny this was brought up, I just started re-listening Millie myself.
She's a wonderful singer..I had the pleasure of seeing her in Little Women. I didn't really enjoy the show, but she gave a really good performance.

The Drowsy Chaperone is amazing, but sadly, Sutton only has about four songs in which she sings, three of which I had to struggle to recall. One is "The Bride's Lament", which for some reason doesn't stand out too much to me. "As We Stumble Along", she harmonizes only about 3/4 of the way through the song, so it's not much of her singing. "An Accident Waiting To Happen" is a duet with her and the leading man (who I PRAY will be recast), but it's not very singsongy. It's more like talking in tune. And finally, she has "Show Off", which is without a doubt the "Gimme Gimme" of Drowsy. Fantastic. It's like "I Speak Six Languages" from Spelling Bee, but with more amazing vocals (and like six reprises)!!
