Bought my ticket today. The guys at the box office (who practically know me by name now) said it should be a fun night. I wanted to reach my hand under the glass part and strangle all four of the guys in there! It's gonna be a very sad evening. And we don't need to discuss what number that makes it....

I may be selling my ticket. My father was supposed to go in for surgery this week but it may be getting postphoned to that Friday (Sep 1st) because my step mother has been hospitalized with pneumonia.

Yeah, I literally won't know until the week of.But thanks for the well wishes. My Dad's pretty tough, so I'm sure he'll pull through. He's got an aortic aneurysm and they have to repair it but they don't feel it's something that has to be done right now. It can wait a couple weeks.

That's really rough...I'm so sorry. There's nothing worse than that powerless feeling when a parent is sick or in the hospital. Sending good vibes that everything will be okay with them both. Best of luck.

Blueroses- Thank you for the well wishes. My step mom has schlerederma so simple colds and viruses can be really dangerous. I love my Dad for wanting to postphone his surgery so he can be with her when she gets out of the hospital. But she's incredibly strong, as is he, so I know because of that and because of the positive vibes people are sending their way thing will be okay. Thanks again.
