Has anyone won the lottery? I don’t know anyone who has yet.
Yes, people have won. I know of a few people who have won. All of them got seats in the front two rows (the stage is VERY high for this production without much of a rake).
Yes, my husband won a few weeks ago and it was an amazing experience. Front row with the orchestra right at your feet - it was surreal. But the stage is v high and you miss the entire last 10 or 15 minutes bc all of the action is down on the stage floor.

Now that Sutton & Aaron are in the show are the lottery seats still in the first 2 rows?
Has anyone gotten better seats from the lottery in recent days?

I haven't won recently but my lottery seats were side orchestra and mid mezz.

I got initially got standby for the Wednesday February 21st 1:00pm show. About an hour after the lottery closed I was notified I won tickets. I was row A seats 111 and 112. Yes at the last 10-15 minutes a lot was missed, but I had seen the show with the original cast so I knew what was going on. At $30 a ticket to see Sutton and Aaron, in my opinion was a wonderful experience

I was there last night from the lottery, A105 and A106. I loved being so close, and yes, you can't see some of the last 15 minutes as it takes place too low for you to see over the high edge of the stage - so if you have never seen Sweeney, probably not a good idea to see from these seats. But having seen it with the original cast from regular seats, I loved the intense closeness, and you can't beat that price if you are fortunate enough to win. I won off Standby, got the notice about an hour after the notice that I was a standby in case a winner didn't claim tickets.
