I've sat in the balcony at the New Amsterdam and those seats were fine. Considering the price, there was no problem. And my parents, who wanted to see The Lion King, didn't have any trouble hearing or seeing anything. Aside from the occasional thin pole, the seats were great.

I guess I'm not used to sitting in balcony seats. I always try to move up if TDF places me there and if I'm buying tickets on my own, I purchase discounted tickets...except for tonight! I paid full price for row B tonight and its been a while (first time I saw Gypsy) since I shelled out $100 for orchastra seats.
