That's the whole point, it is supposed to be different then what you are used to. While I love both CDs I have to say that the OBCR gives you a better idea of the show in general, but the Revival Recording captures some of the creepiness that this revival has. I don't know if I'd be a fan of the cd if I hadn't seen the show though, it is something you have to experience and the cd will always remind you of that powerful night, when you saw true, real, honest theatre on Broadway.
