Has anyone seen Sweet Charity at Harlem Rep? Or anything there?
I wanted to take my friend who has never seen the show but I have no idea if it is worth the venture. I can't find any reviews/threads about it so thought I would ask.

Um, you can’t locate any reviews because their first performance isn’t until Saturday January 12, 2019, bro.
Plus, they’re only performing SWEET CHARITY twice a month until June 2019.

Oh they have been performing since December- they just delete performances from their site as they go. It’s very odd- I know it only because we have been talking about going since December. Their schedule is very odd

The most reviews are on Goldstar.com you can also get tickets there for half off if you are a member. The show has 27 reviews from members on gold star and it's sitting at a 4.5 stars. There are a few reviews specifically for the show on their facebook page in the recommendation area. Also positive. I've seen the show twice. try and sit in the center area. If you pay for a premium seat and sit on the side closes to the concessions (i'd say seat 3 from right to left when you are looking at the house), don't be surprised if you get pulled to dance at some point in the show. https://youtu.be/2GCMfdwcy8g tickets are cheap. Not a hard decision to make. The show started in November I believe.

correction, it started in October. They just never sent out a press release, cause there aren't any notices online about it.

Slightly off topic, I just wanted to let any “Sweet Charity” movie fans know that a Blu-Ray has been released in France. It’s available from Amazon’s French site and it is All Region. It plays perfectly on all Blu-ray players here...and looks and sounds fantastic!

Kino Lorber is releasing a new 4K Blu-ray release in the US. Release date is expected Spring 2019 so this older French release is being discontinued.
