Sweet Charity - Understudy

That's interesting, I thought it was customary for "Nicky" to understudy Charity. I would've thought Josefina Gabrielle would've insisted on it.
Anyway, what are the chances of the show extending after Outhwaite leaves? I'd kill to see Anna Janes Casey as Charity. She is a real triple threat.

I should like to see Josefina take over as Charity as she has that sweetness we associate with the character, and she is a much better dancer that the current lead.
Then Alexis Owen Hobbs could take over Nicky permanently because she and Tiffany Graves are a knockout when they play together.

I seem to remember reading that this production might be filmed for TV, which would make sense considering Outhwaite's TV profile. Is that still likely/a possibility?

The cast have been reassured and like most WE shows, it will pick up with the school holidays.
They are definately hoping to keep this cast together as the Toronto team are very enthusiastic about the transfer.
