Wow, not since Gore Vidal and William F. Buckley Jr went head-to-head on ABC...
"You travel alone because other people are only there to remind you how much that hook hurts that we all bit down on. Wait for that one day we can bite free and get back out there in space where we belong, sail back over water, over skies, into space, the hook finally out of our mouths and we wander back out there in space spawning to other planets never to return hurrah to earth and we'll look back and can't even see these lives here anymore. Only the taste of blood to remind us we ever existed. The earth is small. We're gone. We're dead. We're safe."

Agree, with Lizzie.
Steven, your subject header sucks.
Add the word TARZAN to it.

Change it. Tarzan superfans should come with a warning.

On the topic of the thread, I saw Nicki Scalera (spl?) as Jane and she did a fine job, she just struggled through the lower notes in "Waiting For This Moment."

I saw the understudies for both Kala & Kerchek. They both gave a great performance.

Id have to consult a playbill to list all the understudies Ive seen. I think the only character I havent seen an understudy for is Terk. Most have been very good.

Last week we saw JOSHUA KOBAK as Tarzan, DWAYNE CLARK as Terk, and WHITNEY OSENTOSKI as Snipes.
Joshua was very good as Tarzan. Dwayne was very full of energy, but did not seem to have the same vocal power as Chester.
We still have no idea who the Snipes character even is! HAHA!
Dylan Snyder was Young Tarzan and He was quite a bony little monkey with a good voice! We were pleasantly surprised!
The worst role in this show is Clayton. Poorly written and poorly acted. UGH!

Haha, Snipes is the one that's with Clayton most of the time. It isn't a large part at all, so the actor that plays him is also in the Ensemble. Correct me if I'm wrong, but they don't even list the character "Snipes" in the Playbill, do they?

I'll have to look at my playbill when I get home but isn't it "Snipes/"Son of Man" Vocals"? It was listed in the program I know that. I had an understudy for that character, as well as Clayton, Kala, & Kerchek when I saw it.

I have seen
Dwayne Clark as Terk (mid show)
Darrin Baker and Horace V. Rogers as Kerchak
Natalie Silverlie as Kala
Michael Hollick as Clayton
Josh Kobak and Nick Rodriguez as Tarzan
Celina Carvajal and Niki Scalera as Jane
Some of the understudies have been really great (Nick, Celina and Niki) and some have not been the best but still its nice to see everyone get their shot to shine. Shulers standby is very good, I believe its Horace before Darrin and he has a strong voice. I think when I saw him he was a tad nervous, I think it was one of his first times doing the role but he was good. But no one can top Shuler that man has a beautiful voice. hope that helps.

I would have loved to hear Andy sing. I know he can dance, but I've only heard him sing with the ensemble. I would love it. With how he dances, if he can sing a little bit, than that man needs to be featured in a show.
I prefer Joshua Kobak as Tarzan over Strickland and Massey. I've never seen the new fellow, didn't know there was one until I read this. I think Strickland was picked on pure vocals. His voice is great, but all around Kobak was better.
