TDF Problem

I bought 2 tickets to see Nice Work on Thursday the 23 on TDF. I recently got a call saying I got a callback for something I auditioned for. Is it possible for TDF to switch the day to the day before, the 22? Or would it be possible to pick up the tickets Sat (I am going to the city) because my friend was interested in buying them, but she cant pick them up day of because she doesn't have my name. Does TDF do exchanges?

TDF Problem

They don't do refunds or exchanges (unless the performance is cancelled) and they do not release tickets until the day of the show. However, unless they have gotten really strict with the pick-up policy, your friend who wants the tickets shouldn't have a problem getting them the day of the show. I have purchased tickets for friends through my TDF account on several occasions and they were able to get the tickets without a problem.

TDF Problem

VERY often I've had the box office ask for ID. It really has more to do with the box office then TDF.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

TDF Problem

I've noticed more and more recently that the box office is requiring picture ID of the TDF member at time of pickup.

TDF Problem

I saw Nice Work on Sunday through TDF, and I was asked for ID.

TDF Problem

The last time that I used TDF was to get a ticket to the closing night performance of Hands On A Hardbody. I gave them my name, but they didn't ask for my photo ID. However, I also had with me the conformation page from TDF just in case. They didn't need to see that either. I just gave them my name and they gave me the tickets.

Maybe it has something to do with the theatre verses TDF?

TDF Problem

It's up to the box office whether they ask for ID, not TDF. Like macnyc, I was asked for my ID when I picked up my Nice Work tickets. You could try showing them your confirmation email instead, but there's no guarantee if the box office manager decides to be ornery.

TDF Problem

When I saw The Rascals the box office asked for nothing. My son bought me the tickets and he wasn't there, I had his id, if they asked and I showed his id would I have been okay?

TDF Problem

A similar thing happened to me when I saw Pippin. My dad bought the tickets and they were under his name, but I was seeing the show with cousin. He gave me his credit card, and when I got there, all they needed was the name and my ID. But I guess since we had the same last name (as did my cousin) I guess it was okay. But if you're willing to give your friend your credit card, you should be fine.

TDF Problem

I emailed TDF and told them of my problem, and they changed the tickets to the day before so I can go now! :)

Wow, that's wonderful! Good to know! Enjoy the show. I thought it was great fun. The day I saw it, Judy Kaye was out. But her understudy (Jennifer Smith) did very well, it seemed to me. And Jessie Mueller sang divinely. Good luck at the audition!

@ MaddieBB12 Pippin was NEVER on TDF. It was on TKTS briefly.
