Is The Food Chain the one with the fat guy? Funny play! Wasn't it done off-Broadway about 10 years ago?
Will Nicky Silver be there? He is a total HOOT in person...funny, funny man!

Yes, gymdude - it is a funny play - Mr. Silver won't be there as he doesn't want to intimidate anyone, but he's been very supportive of the reading and our director.
Phantom, Tyler is great! He never fails to crack me up.

Posted: 5/7/07 at 11:41amI went and it was fantastic! Very funny play and the entire cast was top notch, they had me rolling. It was great to see Tyler get to show off what an amazing actor he really is. And Donna did such a great job directing, hard to believe this is really her first try at it. I encorage you to go check it out tonight.

Posted: 5/7/07 at 11:16pmTyler plays Serge, a gay model. It's truly a great piece and Tyler brings it home. So I heard.

Posted: 5/7/07 at 11:34pmI went tonight and it was all around a great evening. Tyler was really very good, at once charming and then total smarminess. His transition from vunerable in one scene to pompous in the next was pure genius. Bravo to Tyler and Donna. Also props to the rest of the cast, there were some nice performances there and some really good laughs. A really fun evening truly.

Hey taboo, to respond to your PM question, I made the opening speech and then read the stage directions/did sound effects. I'm glad you had a good time - you should have said hello!
It was a completely different show tonight than last night, and because of that I wish there could be an extension, Sue, but that's not how these things work, as you well know.

I went last night and I need to be honest. I enjoyed Mr. Hanes a lot but I found the script to be excruciating. I didn't care about anyone, which might be the point of the show, but I just wanted to scream because of all the complaining.
Tyler was above and beyond, though, that's for sure!
