Variety is positive
The Hollywood Reporter adored it
Timeout gives it four out of five stars
The Wrap is negative, with Hofler saying that the play makes "nonsense" out of journalism given his 40+ years of experience in the field.
Looking good so far, with most reviewers praising the cast, Radcliffe's comedic chops in particular.

I am very happy that this got pretty good reviews because I loved it. I have to admit that the only reason I saw it was because it had a Monday evening performance and that cast. I ended up being very surprised how much I liked it. Naysayers have rightfully pointed out that none of the characters really changed, but it was a dramatized point / counterpoint about very relevant issues today.
As someone who is a little tired of 80 minute plays (I tend to view most of them as outlines for plays rather than real plays), I will make an exception for this one because it was so entertaining and raised some really important points.

I can agree with some of the major criticisms, but I still had a great time. I barely made it to the show because I attended the final performance of Torch Song and it seemed to run long then I stagedoored so I sped walked/ran with about 15 minutes before start time from 44th to 54th then still had to buy a ticket at box office. Laughed a lot. Perfect ending to a 5-show long weekend, followed by 54 Below. BTW, for those who care, Radcliffe was only one who stagedoored.

Saw this on Saturday night. I mostly went for the cast, especially Cherry Jones. The Glass Menagerie was the first Broadway play I ever saw and she was wonderful, so I'll happily go see her in anything she does in the future.
My snap judgement was that this play was fine and better if you're there for the cast rather than the material, but the more I reflect on it, there is something there. It's certainly not terribly heavy, but Daniel Radcliffe is great and it is well-suited for the times.
Regarding the stage door, Bobby Cannavale came out and waved on his way to his car, thanking everyone for coming. Daniel Radcliffe followed and was extraordinarily gracious with his time, taking pics and signing for everyone waiting in the "people who saw the show" area (not sure if he went over to the other barricade after).

Just came from this, and I really loved it! More than I thought I would. I thought all three of them were flawlessly cast, and played off of each other so well... it's almost hard to picture anyone else doing it. Also, I really dug the set design & projections.
I feel like reviews have been getting more and more spoilery lately, so I've been choosing to read them after I see the show, but after skimming the comments here I'm surprised that they're so mixed. Now debating whether I want to read them at all, or just bask in my enjoyment!
