She can't sing. I love her...but she can't sing.
Rachel York..."yes, oh yes"
and Is Marin Mazzie too old?? ( I realize I ask this everytime we do a thread where I suggest her for anything so that the woman might finally get a Tony)

Gavin is too young to play Migaldi (how about Adrien Brody..OH! ) in the words of Judy in the Boy From Oz "I like that!"
George Hearn (isn't he dead...jk) but he is too old
Stephanie and Raul I enjoy!
Marc Kudisch might actually be a great Migaldi if he was back where he was physically in his PIMP ernel days

Gavin is too young, but Adrian could do Magaldi? Gavin is 28, and Adrian is what...like 30 or 31? Not too big of a difference, as I see it...plus Gavin (sorry) is cuter than Adrian (not that Adrian isn't cute)...and Gavin can sing like the angel of the Lord.

I vote no on Joey...cause I don't think he's got the chops for Magaldi. Although, teen idol as Magaldi is a good idea.

And, I'd switch your Che and Peron around...I think Antonio would make a great Peron!

And, Stephanie has the belt for Eva. Why has she never done a regional of this role...esp. given her regional career?

Raul as Che is a great pick. I never really thought about that, but he would be great in the role.

Anne Hathaway would be a very pretty Eva, but can she sing?

However, I'm not too familiar with the females listed, so I can't really speculate on who to name the new Eva. JLT would be great, however!

Even if you love Idina's voice, I would hate to see the role of Eva done sans vibretto.

I can't believe nobody thought of Denise Summerford. she'd be an amazing Eva. I just saw her as Caesonia in Caligula and also saw her in TABOO. her voice is perfect for this role. she even reminds me of Patty LuPone.

I saw Raul as Che. He stole the show. As for Natalie Toro as Eva...let's just say I'm glad her name hasn't been mentioned in this thread. She was dreadful.

I think Idina'd be SO GREAT as Eva! Antonio Banderas as Che of course...he rocks....Maybe Hugh Jackman as Peron and someone...else as...MAgaldi. And as Peron's Mistress...I don't know...Maybe an older Addison Timlin (from Gypsy)..when she's about seventeen?
