I think the second part of the Lament from "Evita"(as heard in the Concept Album) is beautiful. "the choice was mine, and no one else's. I could have the masses(millions?) at my feet....Give my life to people I might never meet, or else, to children of my own. Remember, I was very young then...Thought I needed the numbers on my side. Don't all hate me but I cannot STAND "The King and I". Perhaps it was because I saw only a very unprofessional high school production of it, but the performance makes me cringe everytime I hear "Getting To Know You".
