The Broadway Doc discusses how THE NORMAL HEART was unsuccessful in 2004, and how similar problems remain. How could this be successful?

The Actor's Fund reading was one of the most thrilling nights of theater I've seen in years. I love this show and loved Mantello's performance. I hope this happens!

If you think the show is too upsetting for you to handle, perhaps you should seek the help of a real doctor to work through your emotional issues. The producers can back anything they want for whatever reason they want; it's up to audiences to make the personal judgement calls.

I am so glad this show is finally getting some serious Broadway consideration! Loved it at the Public, saw it numerous times. A thrilling and moving piece! Think it will do well in a limited run.
