I sadly think it will be Charity. I saw and loved the musical, but I think people are very skeptical of it. I predict they will announce the tour with a credible star (maybe Molly Ringwald) and announce the broadway closing at the same time. When does Christina leave...January?
And also someone mentioned The Producers closing, but that will certainly not happen for a long time. Once the movie opens, people will regain interest in the show. This interest will continue atleast until the DVD release, if not longer.
Does anyone else think the Hirschfeld needs a little rehab? I don't know much about the theater, but it looked a little run down back in May. I think part of it was that the set of Charity is so bright (i.e. the curtain is pink and yellow) and it made the theater, which is darker colors, look worse. Just a thought....What do you all think?
