Posted: 10/8/14 at 5:15pmThere was no one better than Heppner in his prime--talk about instant-classic performances. But lately his voice has sounded pretty rough. Here's hoping that he's past his recent vocal ailments and back in fine voice.

Posted: 10/8/14 at 11:39pmHaving seen Heppner in Wagner, I am sure he can handle the role of Isidor Straus. It may be a way for him to continue to perform without the strain of singing over a Wagnerian orchestra.
