does anyone know whats happening with this work site. its seems so strange that they can build a 50 leval building in 5months but tkts is still not open???

TKTS IS still open, just not in that location.

I just looked on the TKTS website and they are saying the unveiling of the new site will be later this year.

The company that was doing the fancy glass on it went bankrupt, so that's what has caused the recent lack of progress.

I kind of like the temporary Marquis location. It's not nearly as stressful at the "real" location.

We serve their food, We carve their meat, We tend to their house, We polish their Silverware.

I was hopeing they were gonna knock the new 'thing' down and start again. Its the most hideous building in NY

A young actress with Noel coward after a dreadful opening night performance said to him 'Well, i knew my lines backwards this morning!'' Noels fast reply was ''Yes dear, and thats exactly how you said them tonight'!'

I too love the new location a lot. I remember when they first started it there, the lines were super short because nobody knew it was there...which was a plus for me and others who did =D haha.

Yeah, honestly, I was there on Sunday night, and it was a steady drizzle. The TKTS line was bone dry. So that was nice.

OTOH, the way the line feeds into the windows could use some work. People don't notice the other windows.
