Great Comet seems to be available on TKTS often now. Does anyone know where the seats typically are? I don't want to go and have to pay half of the 299 or 199 seats on the stage. Thanks.

I think they are always roughly 90 dollars, when I went I got a downstage table seat (considered onstage premium). I'm assuming the price is the same for all others considering they are the most expensive seats.

thanks so if there is a mezzanine seat available I won't be able to get it for half of the mezzanine list price if a stage seat is available?

Forgive me but I'm not actually 100% sure how it works. I'm pretty sure they take half off the standard price of tickets (or at least that's what's been doing since I've been going). The stage seats cost a substantial amount, and if I recall correctly 90 dollars for then is more than 50 percent off. I think if there are front mezz/good orchestra seats avaliable they would be the same price (90). Sorry I couldn't help you more!

Correct. TKTS sells tickets which box office releases to them, and while it's technically possible for BO to release cheaper tickets before more expensive ones, they usually don't. If 2 price ranges are available, TKTS itself sells the more expensive ones first unless your party is too big to be accommodated together for those. A person I knew was manning the booth one day when I showed up for tickets to see Phantom, and she suggested I come back in 20 minutes when cheaper block would become available - I did it and saved almost $40.00 :)
We paid $202 for a pair in the last row of the Orchestra, dead center (right at the back end of the winding orchestra stage). Great view of everything except for action on the stairs up to the Mezz. This was for the show Sunday night, 1/1.
to be clear, TKTS sells tickets at half (or whatever the advertised percentage) of the registered (not premium) price of the tickets, not at some standard price for all tickets as seems to have been suggested in one post above.

Just to clarify, I couldn't walk up to the TKTS booth and get rear mezzanine seats for half of the price right? If i recall last time I purchased tickets there was a lady next to me asking for rear mezzanine Waitress seats and it would have cost 180 dollars for the pair. I'm just very confused as to how it works.
has anyone got tickets for this today? If so, how much was it?

You can't just ask for a specific section. It's only what's left. Presumably all the cheaper tickets are gone by day of. So it's 50 or 40% off whatever they send to TKTS. I don't think Great Comet is sending any rear mezz seats to TKTS. The cheapest tickets to a hit show will have sold before the day of.

Fair enough. Sometimes I've been able to ask for (eg) a mezzanine seat over orchestra, is this not usually allowed?

I'm not saying it's not allowed, just that they don't have an unlimited inventory to offer you.

Sure. I hope it helped. I think people sometimes think the concept is "any seat you want at half off" and that's...not what it is.
like anyplace else, if you are nice, you may get something if the person can swing it for you. if you demand, the odds go down. just like at the box office.
has anyone bought tkts for natasha? how much was it?

I honestly got a fantastic ticket (front row of rear mezz) on StubHub for $40. It's the only time I've used the site to buy (I did sell a ticket once) and the whole thing was super easy. Just be aware that some tickets can be downloaded immediately and some require you going to the StubHub box office on 40th St.

Has anyone been able to score onstage banquette tickets for Great Comet lately via TKTS? I see they're on the board today on the website. While I can't make it tonight, I'd like to know for future dates. Many thanks in advance!
