Just wondering, i get into NYC on a Monday afternoon, and there arent many shows that have monday performances, does that mean that tickets for the few that have would sell out fast at the booth. (it opens at 3 and i get to NYC around 4) just wondering what my chances would be for getting one for something like phantom or another monday show after 4pm?
Also its not till all the way in September in the slow season so I dont know if that would help my chances.

You won't have trouble getting tickets for a Monday night performance, and you realized your choices are limited. When I've been there on Mondays, I've been really lucky. I got into Kiss of the Spider Woman with Chita Rivera, Gypsy, but without Bernadette Peters (Maureen Moore was brilliant as Rose!) and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. For Gypsy, I was 9th row, on the aisle, right side of the main floor. Great seats!
You won't have trouble getting into whatever you choose to see.

Posted: 6/4/07 at 10:33amthanks, thats a bit of a relief, i figure its best to put phantom on the monday so it would free up another night for something else. pluss i like the whole randomness of going to TKTS and not knowing where you would get to sit. (once i dont end up in the back of the orchestra like i did on Aida)

So I said, 1 ticket for Avenue Q, the guy got my ticket and it was rear mezz. Then I told him I wanted one more. I asked if they had orchestra seats for Company or any other show. He said they had orchestra seats for everything...so I got an orchestra seat to Company. I wish I had asked for Avenue Q. Just try asking next time.

I agree with, BettyBoy!
Coming in from out of town, as I always do, I'd rather have a sure thing than take my chances!
I just got front orchestra for Curtains and Pirate Queen from one of the discount websites for the end of June.
One less line I need to stand in when I get to the city!
Good Luck!
