TKTS question (S.S. Seaport vs. Duffy Square...best seats?)

Ok, so I'm planning on going to LEGALLY BLONDE on August 8th and all of the discounts online expire the week before, so I'm thinking I might just take my chances and TKTS it.

But, should I TKTS it at the Seaport the day before? Do they usually have good seats or are they crappy because the box office waits til the last minute to release the good seats, which they probably would release to the Duffy Square TKTS booth?

Is it a better idea getting the tix the day before at the Seaport or should I get them the day of at Duffy? Which day/location would you bet on having better seats?

(I think) South Street day before tix applies to matinees only? i.e. you can buy tix on a Tue for a Wed matinee only, not a Wed eve? So you might wanna check into that if you're planning on Fri eve tix.

Next-day tickets are only for matinees.

So...for August 8th, which is a Friday, I would say either after the booth opens down by the Seaport (11am), or after the booth opens at 46th St (3pm), if you want to get the best seat possible.

However, I am not sure if the Seaport TKTS has access to the same seats as they do at 46th St. I'd like to think so, but I don't know how it works. When do they print the tickets? If 46th St. prints tickets first, then Seaport tickets will not have better seats..

I believe both places have access to the same tickets.
