My aunt, my, mom, and I are planning to see Kinky Boots on October 6th. We were going to go for this Me +3 offer that Ticketmaster has because it would only be $4 more for one more seat instead of going full price on all three. But I was wondering, would we have a better deal if we bought them through TDF? I don't have a membership but from what I've heard TDF has the tickets on there frequently. Could we get better seats even from risking TKTS that same day? The seats I have my eye on on ticketmaster are mid-mezzanine and $117 without any discounts.

I would do TKTS, personally. I've seen Kinky Boots twice through them - the first time I got a single ticket in center orchestra row J for $102, and the second time I got two tickets in side orchestra row D for $90 each. (Edit: I just reread the part about Me + 3. If it comes out to significantly less per ticket than what I paid at TKTS, then yeah definitely do that).
TDF has generally good seats for good prices, but currently they only have KB up for this Wednesday so I wouldn't necessarily gamble on them having the date you want.

I've never used TKTS before - is Kinky Boots always up there?

If you can Me + 3 and get decent seats, and know the row/seat #s in advance, that seems like way to go, no running around on the day sorting out tickets...

The seats are left mezz row G. I've only sat in the left box at the Hirschfeld so I don't know how great those seats are.

It's on TKTS all the time. If you only need 3 seats, don't bother buying 4. Just wait until then.

If you're going to pay almost $90 a seat plus fees for side mezz row G, I'd go TKTS. It's just about always 50% off and you'll almost certainly get a very good orchestra seat for that or at most a few dollars more.

I’d recommend that over anything. You’ll be close to the stage and to the side, but not on the end of the row. They’re on ticketmaster without a discount.

Yeah, for mezz row G, I'd go TKTS at that point...
