I'm so happy I won. But I'm even more happy that all of my overnight posse won! I would NEVER do that again, but I wouldn't change that night for the world!

Ashley, enter on 51st street (the red carpet entrance is on 50th street). Get there early (around 6) as it takes a while to get everyone inside. And that way you can people watch in the lobby before taking your seat. There are no cameras allowed - but it depends on how strict the security people are. Last year I brought one so I could have it for the Gala afterwards and they never even checked to see if I had one.
Also, pee first and make sure you eat a good dinner. 4 hours of the show + 1 hour getting yourself inside + however much time it takes you to get to midtown = a very long evening.

theatreguy - thanks! I will be rushing from my own show that ends around 5:30 so it's gonna be tight with trying to get enough to eat and get there on time. Thanks for the info!

Theatreguy, good to know about the camera. I want to have mine for the Gala so I hope I can hold onto it.
