My daughter's seats are in the 3rd balcony, row C. Don't have a lot of details, her cell phone was dying. When she gets home I'll try to get a feel for how many were available. Guess I'm taking her dress shopping tonight. She's taking her sister, who happens to have a dress since her prom is next week.

Congrats to all the winners! My roommate went to try to win us tix (I had to work), but unfortunately we did not win. Oh well, we tried.

I won too!!!!! I was there at 11pm last night and yeah, it was tough to stay there all night in the rain but man do i have stories. I made friends with all the people in front of me. It was basically a giant sleepover in Times Square. from like 10:30 till 2am there was 17 of us and then more people started to come later on, but the hardcore people were the first 17. and let me tell you, all of us were able to get tickets. I'm not sure how many tickets were sold, but I want to say maybe 75, maybe a bit more.
seriously, even if I didn't win (though I am so happy I did), I wouldn't have given up last night for anything. the experience I had with my friend and the friends I made was incredible. Thanks Night Posse!!!! See you all on Sunday!!

They did give a pretty generous amount of tickets, I must say. When I was walking in at 2:45 I saw the stack of tickets and got really excited. I stopped paying attention after they called my name and I was holding two silver tickets in my hand.
I was sitting in the front of the Concierge place, so I was mumbling to myself everytime they called a number that was close to mine (they called the number above and below). Finally when I won James Carpinello gave me a high five and I told Lauren Molina how much I loved her in Sweeney Todd (and Rock of Ages too).
So glad to hear all of the hardcore overnighters got tickets, I was really excited to see some of you freaking out (I think I got there at around 6 and was #24).
It really was a great experience, and I made some pretty awesome friends.

My daughter arrived at around 7:30 AM, and was around #30 on line. Just got back from getting her a dress. Tomorrow, the shoes.

2nd mezz row F I believe. Most of them were in 3rd mezz I think. but some in 2nd mezz.

I got tickets too! We're in the 2nd mezz. I got there at 12:30pm today to put my name in. Just decided to walk by and see and they were still taking names. I called my friend and she put her name in at 2:30. She actually won for us. So excited to be there on Sunday!

I took my daughter shopping for a dress last night, and after many hours, we had success at David's Bridal in Paramus. If you can get there, I highly recommend it. We had tried Group USA in Jersey Gardens, but were very disappointed with their selection and the condition of their gowns (most looked like they'd already been worn to the prom).
If you go to David's, don't get this dress in this color. That's what my daughter will be wearing, and she'll look better than you.
