The first time I saw the full trailer on tv was during last week's episode of Laguna Beach (guilty pleasure...) and now it is on TRL. Seems like they are getting good coverage with the MTV crowd, which is a great idea since so many teenagers watch.

It is getting very good teen coverage. I was just on myspace and they had an advertisement (the ones on the top of the page) for it.

yeah, the myspace thing has been there for a few weeks now. It's excellent. I have friends from home (hawaii) who have never heard of RENT before and are excited to see this movie because of all the advertisements, clips, MTV exposure, etc... Not that a small bunch will make a difference, but you never know.

My computer hates MTV.com, but I found this, and if you scroll down to 'clipworthy' a window opens and I'm guessing in a few hours we might get to see the clip? It says 'Into the Blue' right now, before my internet explorer dies, and I think that's another movie, yes?

So, maybe in a few hours we can see it?

You would think. Anyway, I have a lot of friends who despise musical theatre of any kind, but are anxious to see RENT because of all the publicity it's getting. Hopefully, that makes a difference in the long run. I, for one, can't wait.

ive seen commercials on WB and ABC now. Seems like they are targeting all crowds. The abc one was during a soap opera

any idea on when it changes from into the blue to RENT?

i caught the tail end of the clip and it looked GOOD, a lot better than the out tonight clip. it has so much more energy, a good representation of the show
