I have burned my hair before it wasn't all that great smelling, I would have loved to see her trying to put out her hair.
I hate my tivo that is programmed to record anything with "Kristen Chenoweth" in the keywords, and STILL didn't record this show!
Probobly because you spelt her name wrong you twat.

what does kristin have coming up to promote? i mean..why was she on Ellen in the first place. don't read that as mean..i am just really curious to know.
kristin is REALLY like that in person. i worked with her and she is always "annoyingly" perky. its just how she is. she MAY be fake NOW but she is really just a "super" happy person. the only time i found it annoying was when something went really wrong and she could just "RIIIIIISE above it!" we were all like..JEEEZ kristin..GET MAD already would you?!!! hahahah..she is a pleasure to work with and its sad that she comes off as fake or annoying.
oh well...
She was on for The West Wing.

considering how comedic kristin is..i think she is fantastic on The West Wing! i think i may like her more on that than in anything else i have seen her in... and i have seen her in everything...
I kept on writting to Ellen that we should put her on the show. I'm so glad it wasn't one of those 5 min. things were she asks 1 question, goes to a commercial break, and comes back with some kid riding a bike.
Personally I love her personality... It is so different from anyone else. She is just unique. Go kristin...im glad she didn't burn her apartment down!!
Can anyone give a recap or upload this to a website?

I thought that Kristin was so cute and funny on the Ellen show.
However, I felt as though Ellen was a little uncomfortable with Kristin on her show. If it was not Ellen, then it was Kristin. There just seemed to be a little bit of an uncomfortable atmosphere. Maybe it was just me.
Haha, this is really off-topic, but on the opening thing, or whatever, the opening of the show, that's it, was that Taye Diggs on the thing, holding the video camera?
She's too pretty.
Um, not sure about the Taye Diggs thing.
I almost peed my pants I was laughing so hard during this.
"Breathe from your hoo-haa!" --I have seriously never heard anyone call it that. Dear Kristin: Please be MY voice teacher.

I thought the camera was not presenting her very flatteringly (he said charitably) and for 2/3 of her appearance I thought she was shockingly phoney. Phoney phoney phoney. Then she talked about the late John Spencer and I thought she finally came across as real.

I love how she does a 25 minute tv spot and there's an immediate backlash of criticism. She's too cute, she's too fake, She soooo small, she wasn't very flattering. LOL it's kinda funny.

I love how you can't read. What I wrote was that the camera didn't flatter her. THAT was me being nice. What I would have written if I were being mean would have been, golly, she's not very photogenic.
I think she was just too peppy for Ellen. She really did come off like a freakin Chihuahua. I think she is cute, in doses. Ellen looked like she was worn out.
I love Kristin and have watched her in other interviews where she has been fabulous. I agree with the comments that this particular one didn't go too well for whatever reason. There is no chemistry between Kristin and Ellen for whatever reason (Ellen was kind of disengaged; she doesn't seem to take to the whole "I am a silly blonde" persona as well as Letterman does).
I also agree that the whole segment seemed very plastic. The whole first part was, "I am going to tell this long and non-spontaneous story about my hair," the opera lesson was schticky and silly (if she ever decides to give a master class, I hope she is a better teacher than that), and I thought even the John Spencer part didn't come off that well. I mean, the guy died about 2 weeks ago, and Kristin didn't seem like she was still upset about it (to me, the whole recollection of him came off as very rehearsed, like the "Jolly Rancher" thing). I think Kristin needs someone more like Letterman who will throw her off her guard more so that she doesn't just do her rehearsed routine.
I also don't understand why she doesn't sing during her appearances -- most of the audience doesn't know she can, and most of them would really be wowed by her talent. I don't see how it would hurt her -- it hasn't hurt Catherine Zeta-Jones or Hugh Jackman to let people know they have musical talent.
I thought she was hysterical, but I agree about Ellen looking uncomfortable... Maybe she was think a three way with her girlfriend and Kristin?
Kristin was great in the interview... I'm so happy she got this spot on Ellen... Hope to see her on Broadway again in the future...
She was too cute. I love the story when she set her hair on fire! Ellen did seem a bit uncomfortable though. She wasn't her full-self.

I think maybe Kristin was just nervous. Otherwise, I thought the interview was really funny. (And most stars, if you pay attention, have pre-rehearsed anecdotes they use when they go on talk shows....)At any rate, I've seen Kristin Chenoweth interact with people she admires who she has never before met, and from what I have noticed, her first instinct is usually to tell a story and make the person laugh. In real life and in interviews--she loves to share her embarrassing stories, and it makes her happy when the response is laughter (and from what I could make of the audience reaction, they thought it was funny.) She sees it as an ice-breaker and all.
And I imagine, with a brilliant stand-up comic like Ellen, that the idea of going on her show and giving an interview when you yourself are known for being cute and funny has got to be daunting--no matter who you are. All actors approach these interviews and situations differently. Anyone remember The Rosie O' Donnell show, way back when, when Rosie had Barbra Streisand--her childhood hero--on the show, and burst into tears?
Stars get nervous and intimidated, and they have idols and role models, too. I thought the little interview was very amusing.
