Does anybody have details on the Takarazuka production of "Chicago" that will be performed at Lincoln Center this summer? (Has anyone seen the production in Tokyo?)
Apart from the obvious facts that it's all female, and all Japanese, do we know if this will be staged like the current Broadway production, or might it be closer in spirit to the far more elaborate 1975 Bob Fosse production? (Which I'm old enough to have seen!)
It would be great if a few veteran performers from the 1975 and current Broadway productions did cameos. (Chita Rivera: Are you reading this?)
