Ok, so about 3 months ago i decided that i was going to rearrange broadway songs for myself and my acoustic guitar.. At the words of encouragement i've gotten from some of the folks on here i'm putting it up for all of BWW to hear.
let me know what you all think.. I'm very interested in any feedback. However, i know i don't have a broadway voice so don't go in expecting it.
Current songs that are up there are: *drumroll please*
Fine, Fine Line - Avenue Q
Sunset Boulevard - Sunset Boulevard
What I Did For Love - A Chorus Line
If you have any suggestions as to what I should tackle next throw it at me and I'll see what I can come up with.

I LOVE "Sunset Boulevard". It lends itself really well to the guitar and your vocals are effortless.

Really enjoyed these songs.
Heard a couple of folk singers the other day (yes, they still exist) and was thinking that their songs would sound much better as 'Broadway' tunes.
Funny world.
As Stew says (in Passing Strange): "the courage to bleed"....,
"Pain, Ego, Art!"....
Thoroughly enjoyed your renditions! You're obviously a very talented guy. If you're a bit insecure about your voice, don't be - just take some singing lessons. You sound really good, with perfect pitch and nice tone. Beautiful guitar playing.

AWESOME voice. Can't wait to hear more. Mabey Key's from PS? Just to see how that'd turn out.
Very nice!
I loved the arrangement of Sunset Boulevard!

I loved it. Don't be worried about people not liking it. Have confidence, you're really talented!!
Also, quick off-topic thing here. I saw that it said you lived in WV. I don't if that's true because I know alot of people but a random place on myspace but if you are, that's really great! I live in WV and there aren't many people interested in theatre so I just thought it was cool to see that!

Hey all thanks for the kind, kind words.
Yes Mizzfit, I'm from Parkersburg.. right down the river from you I think if you're the guy who added the page from Weirton. *side note i have an ex-girlfriend who lives there.*
NOW, suggestions? The whole point of this thing to me was to take songs that are broadly orchestrated and not presented in a pop/rock setting. *i know avenue q doesn't fit that description, but work with me people*.
I'm just completely out of ideas and need some new songs to tackle :)
thanks again!!!!!
I don't have any songs to suggest at the moment, but I just wanted to add that these sound great. Really enjoyed all three tracks.
