Hey!
I'm going tomorrow to Little Shop's Last Performance, and i just wanted to ask if people can take pictures at the end of the show (when they bow) without flash...
Thanks for you help!

noone will care, usually even with the flash- after all the press is usually there for closings
You are not allowed to take pictures during a performance. But that doesn't mean it doesn't happen. A LOT.

Generally, the bigger the fan base, the more flashes you'll see go off.
at taboos closing people were taking pictures during every scene. im sure people will be taking them at lsoh tomorrow
I wouldn't suggest taking them during the performance. (Someone might take your camera away) but you'll see plenty of them during the curtain call so go for it. (Of course, if you do see a lot during the performance and nobody seems to care.... then why not?)
I remember at the closing night of Miss Saigon the random man next to me taping the show on a regular camcorder out in full view.

If your taking a pic w/o a flash and youre not too obvious, they probably won't notice anyway.
And side note, because I saw the reference to Taboo's closing. Yes, people took pictures throughout the entire first act. At intermission they had to request that people stop taking pictures and through the second act there was only one or two.
However, once the curtain call comes its anybody's game.
That's how it is for most shows though. When Les Mis closed...wow.
Though not a real final performance I was at Kristin and Norbert's final performance and I must say that I found it to be rude when people just took pictures at their own will throughout the show. I took some of my own but just of the curtian call. That's just my opinion though.

at Taboo, people were camera happy and I didn't mind at all although they threatened to take camera's away.
They always threaten to take the cameras away. I always have mine on me no matter where I am but I never take it out. The key is to not use it unless so many others are using it that they don't care. At closing night of...I think it was Follies revival...I had my camera in my hand and didn't use it because I was right next to an usher and then all of a sudden TONS of flashes started going off and the usher touched my arm and said "Oh, go ahead, just take them, I'm not going to stop you."
I don't like wasting film on pictures from the shows. I mean, there will be a ton of pictures online of last performances, and people will argue "well, they're your own" ... but I'd rather use my film to take pictures with the actors, not of them.

You should watch out in little Shop, I was just there on Thursday, and took a picture of me and my friends in the tehater DURING INTERMISSION, and the nastya$$ usher threatened to take my camera away. Honestly, its of ourselves in the theater during intermission, what the hell is the big deal??
Kicks, at certain theatres, you aren't allowed to take any pictures inside at all, regardless of whether or not it's during the show. I think it might be because the flash is bad for the interior of the building.

That's it, Emcee. They don't allow flash photography in museums for the same reason. However, if you don't use a flash, I don't think it really matters.
Emcee, you're home!! How was your vacation?
I wasn't even at a last performace, I was just at a regular performance of Wicked and lots of people took pictures during the curtain call(my mom included).
Yup, I'm home. It wasn't awful... but I'm at the point where family vacations are less than relaxing. I got a nice tan, though!

I plan to bring my camera when I see Wicked. Don't know if I'll use it, as I am last row, but I may use it to take pictures of the set and such if there are no ushers around. I don't know, I'll "play it by ear" lol.
Yah, I was on a family vacation too. But we had a boat, water skis, and my best friend so it was okay. At least you got a tan!!(Something that will never ever happen to me, stupid Irish skin)

As far as I know you are not allowed to take pictures, regardless of what performance or broadway theatre, flash or no flash. If you are really curious, ask an usher as they seat you and they will inform you.
Even though it wasn't the last performance, we took pictures during the finale at BFO this week. No flash. I've never done this before and I probably never will again (not counting the next time I'm seeing BFO on 9/11). Love that Hugh.
