Looking for Size 17 tap shoes (size 15 street shoe), and I can't find them! Do you know where to find them? Please help.

Posted: 12/17/18 at 12:11pmUnfortunately, no commercial outlet carries anything larger than size 14. You will need to locate a shoe maker to custom fit and make anything larger than size 14.

Capezio sells up to size 16. Maybe contact them to see if the can do a custom order?

alternatively, you can try to buy the shoes you want and have a cobbler install taps. I'm sure most danc.e supply stores sell them.

Thommie Retter makes custom taps, so there is a chance they could make the size you're looking for.
