Do you think they will ever revive this? It is one of my favorite ALW musicals and, if done right/with the right lead, it could be a major tour-de-force. I wouldn't necessarily want the 2003 re-worked version, but something closer to the original with either updated references or make it set in the 80s. Either way, I think NYC should give it another go

I wish they'd put the original TV broadcast out on DVD. For that matter, I'd also like the complete SONG & DANCE that was released on a Japanese laserdisc.

I love the "Song and Dance" with Marti Webb and the 2nd disk with "Variations" on it. Marti Webb just breaks my heart throughout it.

I actually saw Louise Pitre (original Broadway Donna in "Mamma Mia") do the show in Toronto a few years ago, and it was interesting. Not my favourite, yet do I know what version they used.

I went because of Louise Pitre, and I thought that this show isn't produced that often to my knowledge.

I absolutely love it! It is a little dated now. It was ahead of its time when it opened, in the pre "Sex and the City" era. I would love to see it with a big profile star in it.
