haha okay guys, so my friend is writing this song, since it is almost 12 days till rent comes out...and its kick ass. lol. we're not done though.
On the first day of Rentmas, John Larson gave to me:
A cold loft on Avenue B
On the second day of Rentmas, John Larson gave to me:
Two starving artists
And a cold loft on Avenue B
On the third day of Rentmas, John Larson gave to me:
Three homeless bums
Two starving artists

Okay.
So I took the liberty of finishing this and I moved some things around so here you go. I actually tried to keep some of the things CLOSE to the original as far as what they were doing but I guess that's not very obvious...anyway. Enjoy.

And it only took me until number 10 to figure out I could just cut and paste as opposed to typing it all out...

Posted: 11/10/05 at 11:43amlove this! Reminds me of college when we'd be going through finals right before christmas break. We'd make up our lyrics to traditional carols. We ended up with things like "I'm Dreaming of an 'A' Paper" and "The Twelve Days of Finals." Good times.

Posted: 11/10/05 at 11:49amAs much as I love these spoofs, there's just one thing: 525,600 minutes doesn't really fit into the "Five golden riiiiiiings" unless you say it really fast. Just a thought. Very awesome though!

allie, that is what I did too! I mean, it does sound weird, but it works! I think we should write that to them and ask if they could sing it on the next Broadway cares christmas cd! that would be cool!
oh, and it reminds me of the 12 pains of christmas song. love that song!
