Neil is allowed to mock Piven as much as he wants; he's lost far too many Emmys to that putz.

Oy the Bring Out Your Dead segment.

did we break BWW? For like almost an hour
You're reminding me of people you hear at the movies asking questions every ten seconds, "Who is that? Why is that guy walking down the street? Who's that lady coming up to him? Uh-oh, why did that car go by? Why is it so dark in this theater?" - FindingNamo on strummergirl

"If artists were machines, then I'm just a different kind of machine...I'd probably be a toaster. Actually, I'd be a toaster oven because they're more versatile. And I like making grilled cheese" -Regina Spektor

"That's, like, twelve shows! ...Or seven." -Crazy SA Fangirl

"They say that just being relaxed is the most important thing [in acting]. I take that to another level, I think kinda like yawning and...like being partially asleep onstage is also good, but whatever." - Sherie Rene Scott

yeah that billy number does not make the show look appealing. Plus, it looked like he was having a seizure and a leg cramp.
when ducks grow thumbs then maybe my opinion will change.

I had no idea Billy Elliot was about one boy's triumph over epilepsy.

Very frustrated. Local TV is covering a storm that is hundreds of miles away and am missing 75% of the program so far....

What the heck was he yelling during that dance number? It sounded like "UH!"
Jimmy, what are you doing here in the middle of the night? It's almost 9 PM!

sorry bww servers. i figured this would happen.

i actually thought that angry dance would be good beacuse when i saw the show it was really amazing. but for some reason that just didn't pull me in as it did when i saw it live. and what about only having 1 billy? i figured they'd put them all on.

I really thought, and had hoped, he was going to perform "Electricity"

Kind of an odd choice for Billy. The Best Musical nominees have all performed unusual songs this year, with the possible exception of Rock of Ages (cause we all knew they could only really do a medley).

Welcome back everyone. Resume your bitching.
Oh, and I almost forgot to mention...I'm the good cop, he's the bad cop.

Billy Elliot should have done Solidarity.

And yep, BW went down for me for over an hour as well.

The Billy segment was awful...it may actually hurt ticket sales. When you see the choreography up close you realize how bad it is.

Also, the In Memoriam segment was bad..the camera panned in ways you couldnt read some names....the camera man needs to be fired too..
"The sexual energy between the mother and son really concerns me!"-random woman behind me at Next to Normal "I want to meet him after and bang him!"-random woman who exposed her breasts at Rock of Ages, referring to James Carpinello
