The Band’s Visit Vocal Selections?

Just saw The Band’s Visit. Any word on if a book of Vocal Selections is coming out? If so, when? I’d love to play through the music. Would also love it if it included some instrumental selections as well.

I have a contact at Hal Leonard and as of a few weeks ago they had not heard anything (and since they've published the other Yazbek shows, I imagine that it would go to them as well). I'm sure it will happen eventually, but it doesn't seem to be anything that they are rushing to get done at this time.

That’s frustrating re no clear plans for publication of The Band’s Visit (Vocal Selections). Does anyone have music that they transcribed from the show? Feel free to PM me.

There are a few songs that I’d love to play. I found a site that listed the chords for Omar Sharif, but some don’t seem right. I’d love to get music for Omar Sharif, Haled’s Song About Love, and Answer Me. Anyone have versions of these? I’m also frustrated that Spongebob still isn’t out yet.

I loved that Dave Malloy published every song from Great Comet online and had it for sale independent of a Hal Leonard book. (Now I have the whole score on my iPad!)

I tweeted at David Yazbek to ask him and he replied to say Hal Leonard would be publishing it - I was going to post the tweet here, but oddly, he's since deleted his reply!
