I heard a musical based on 'The Birds' is coming to Broadway
can anyone confirm this?
LOL
Only if they invade the theatre and peck the eyes out of everyone in the audience.
Maybe they could add in the Bird Woman from Mary Poppins and make it more kid-friendly.

There is a PLAY version which received mixed notices out-of-town and overseas by Conor MacPherson. Could that be what you're talking about?

Actually I can see this working if they did it like Little Shop Of Horrors. You know you can see Ellen Greene in the Tippi Hedren role.
Can't wait for the woodpeckers' tap number!
how can we confirm whether or not you heard something?

Oh, so it's like the Valley of the Dolls stage show. I couldn't imagine a legit adaptation.
Gotcha.
Now "Psycho" on the other hand, I think could be adapted ...
"Now "Psycho" on the other hand, I think could be adapted ..."
The Shower Scene would be a 15 minute ballet, a la Rodgers and Hammerstein.

Well, BK didn't do a ballet - but he did include a tap number.

The birds should peck the eyes out of late comers and those who text during the show.
