I would just like to applaud this show. I do not feel that I got enough time at the curtain call. Of all the shows I have seen this is the best one. It is not my favorite, but it is probably the best of all. This story is wonderful and it is beautifully acted. I would just like to thank Tracy Letts for writing such a wonderful show. go see this show if you have yet to.
I agree...incredibly amazing. I just hope it lasts long enough as I have 100 tix to see this in March with my HS kids.
They already have new cast members lined up to come in in early February, so clearly the producers of this show truly believe in its brilliance. I'm incredibly happy with how it has done and I wish it the longest life possible. I've seen it 7 times and I can honestly say it is the most powerful and deeply affecting night of theatre one can ever wish to have. Also one of the funniest pieces of entertainment I've ever known.

yes, I know about the new replacements....but that doesn't guarantee anything:
Cindy Williams had just started in Drowsy Chaperone for less than a week when they announced the closing. (I could have my timing be off)
I am going in March as well during Spring Break to take my boyfriend to see it. It'll be my third time, I really hope it's still open then. It's a brilliant show indeed, with a wonderful cast, and just a great evening at the theatre. I particularly would love to see Elizabeth Ashley as Mattie Fae, that will be great.
I'm just holding out hope I guess.
